Merk-Echt is a trademark agency in The Netherlands, with offices in the centre of Amsterdam and Breda. The company was founded in 1997 and has grown ever since. Currently we serve over 10.000 clients and manage more than 30.000 trademarks and designs.

We work with numerous agents all over the world to protect the Trademark rights of our clients. We are more than happy to help foreign Trademark attorneys to help to protect the Trademark rights of their clients in Europe and the Benelux (Since 1971, The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg have applied uniform rules for the protection of entrepreneurs' trademarks and have a single Trademark office BOIP and no longer national Trademark offices).

We provide all services with regard to trademarks and designs in the Benelux, European Union and through the WIPO system, such as availability searches, filing and watching trademarks and designs. We also provide legal services regarding intellectual property (IP), for example giving legal advice, preparing legal documents, preparing cease-and-desist letters and filing oppositions and appeals. Moreover, we have good contacts and short lines with law firms specialising in IP.

Our official working languages are Dutch and English, however we can also communicate in German and French.
